The Heart of Bondi Nanny
“As a Piscean mermaid, I love being close to the ocean.”
For years, I engaged the young minds of children from Early Childhood to Primary.
Now I wish to also work with adult minds to inspire you to interact with your inner child.
Education and empathy are subjects I’m enthusiastic about, which is why I’ve worked as an Educator for many years.
I have studied Early Childhood Education and Care, and my multifaceted experience includes working with various age groups, including babies, toddlers, and pre-school and primary aged students. I’ve also worked with children who have special needs, including autism, asthma, language and speech delays, and babies and toddlers who have breath-holding spells.
For older children, I love creating educational activities that are not only knowledge-based but simultaneously tied in with soft skills. By teaching a combination of hard skills and soft skills, we can foster children’s development into confident and compassionate individuals. The result is children who are not just book smart but also emotionally intelligent.
Running the before and after school childcare department at one of the School of the Sacred Heart colleges was one of the highlights of my career.
It’s very meaningful for me to create a place to call home and a sense of belonging, plus promoting unity consciousness.
Pisces is associated with meditation, prayer, and all things spiritual that lead to enlightenment. Ancient astrologers documented that each star sign builds on the contributions of all the signs that came before it.
Pisces is the culmination of all eleven signs that run from Aries through to Aquarius, making Pisces the ultimate star sign of wisdom, faith, and hope.
This probably explains why I grew tired of the “I don’t care; no one cares” culture being perpetuated in this generation as “cool.”
Like that American song about bringing sexy back, we need to bring caring back.
Your Nanny Cares!
“The plain fact is that the planet does not need more successful people. But it does desperately need more Peacemakers, Healers, Restorers, Storytellers, and lovers of every kind… It needs people of moral courage willing to join the fight to make the world habitable and humane. And these qualities have little to do with success as we have defined it.”
David Orr’s book ‘Ecological Literacy: Educating Our Children for a Sustainable World.’
